Given the preference for bimonthly or quarterly meetings, I hope to organise the next meeting for the last Thursday of August or September. Please contact me if you are interested in presenting – either by leaving a comment, or by email. Talks should be 10-30 minutes long. Ideally we would have one theme for the night, but I will have to see what everyone wants to talk about first. Let me know if there are several topics you could talk about.
I want to keep it easy for people to present, so don’t stress: your talk can be as simple or as complex as you like (slides and demos are optional).

I would be more than happy to listen to the presenters, and of course I will share my opinion.
For somebody starting out in making 3d models and animations, it isn’t easy. I am not good enough to take on paid projects and have no clue sometimes how to stay motivated and what I want to actually model. I need to flesh out ideas and be able to get to the point where I actually need to use blender.
It would be a profound experience if somebody could provide a workshop on this experience.
There are plenty of tutorials for modelling, but not fleshing out ideas…
That’s a great idea. It sounds like it would involve quite a lot of sketching and storyboarding, though, and fleshing out ideas takes time. Maybe we could run a series of workshops over a couple of months? In the first week we could brainstorm and make concept art, and in the following sessions we could model and animate.

Presentation would include custom Blender set up, addon installation & use, bmesh tools & popular addons.
