Melbourne Blender Society – January 2014 meetup at VPAC

It’s time for the first meeting for 2014! See you at VPAC Systems Office on Thursday the 23rd of January at 6pm.

Alex Fraser will present a sneak peak of his Blender based game, Cargo which is due for release very soon. He will do a demo and lift the hood to show how it is built.

Project Charcoal restarted after the summer break and with a bit of luck we will present the revised animatic. BTW: if you are interested in joining the project team let us know!

Andrew Buttery will do a short presentation on the Blender Foundation and Blender Institute explaining their goals and differences.

Finally, we will have a Q&A session where where the experienced members try to answer any questions or solve any problems you have encountered. Come on, try to find a question they can’t answer!

There will be 12 computers available for use in the workshop. Last time there were enough computers for everyone, but you can bring a laptop if you like. Or, you can just watch.

Dinner arrangements will be decided on the day. So see you Thursday 23rd at:
